A story of stone and tradition

In the heart of the Itria Valley, Borgo Marietta preserves the authentic soul of an ancient Apulian village.

Aunt Marietta

Where it all began.

Marietta knew every stone in this place.

As a child, she ran among the dry stone walls, played in the shade of the olive trees, and spent her days among the small stone houses that now make up the village. For her, they weren't just homes: they were the place where the family gathered, where time seemed to pass more slowly, and where everything had a story to tell.

Thus, generation after generation, the village has been looked after, respected and finally riportato a nuova vita.

Today, Borgo Marietta is born from that very memory. The stones remain, the olive trees continue to mark the landscape, and the ancient spaces have been transformed into a place to stay, slow down, and feel part of Puglia.

The village changes, but what Marietta wanted to preserve remains: the pleasure of simple things, hospitality, and time spent together.

The History

A village born to be lived in.

Borgo Marietta was born from the desire to preserve an authentic place in the Itria Valley and give it new life, without losing its identity.

The ancient stone buildings, the trulli, the lamia, and the olive trees tell of a Puglia made of simple gestures, work, and slow time.

Each space has been designed to preserve this connection with the territory, combining the memory of the place with the comfort of contemporary hospitality.
